CABO SAN LUCAS
PLAYABAR
Located next to the pool of the Nobu Hotel, Playabar offers a wonderful break from the sun with its refreshing menu. The attentive staff readily accommodates any dietary preferences you might have, ensuring a fast-paced and seamless dining experience. The guacamole is simply divine and impeccably seasoned with the perfect amount of lemon, salt, and cilantro that makes it a great accompaniment for their homemade tostadas. The poke bowl was phenomenal, and if you are seeking a lighter variation I highly suggest the tuna poke tostada. Both poke dishes come with spicy vegan aioli, which provides the perfect kick to balance the flavors. No reservation is needed, as you can enjoy at their bar, tables, or at the pool chairs.

PACIFIC RESTAURANT
Situated below Nobu, this gorgeous restaurant offers a view of not only the ocean, but also the gorgeous fireplace and talented live band. The meal started off with three different types of bread paired with a hibiscus butter and tomato salsa sweetened with cane sugar. Next, we were given potato croquettes with a creamy cilantro sauce. While only having cactus a handful of times, my friend and I were very excited to try the cactus salad; however, while the salad was light and flavorful, be mindful that you will not taste cactus as it is mainly in the dressing. The airy salad pairs wonderfully with the "al pastor '' chicken that was incredibly tasty, especially when wrapped up in a corn tortilla drizzled with the pineapple salsa. I also suggest getting a cocktail from their lovely bar that is situated right in the middle of this restaurant. Reservations recommended during busier seasons.

FLORA FARMS
This exceptional farm-to-table restaurant is one not to be missed, with the gorgeous produce being used in unique ways to elevate the natural flavors. You will start off the meal with a delicious complimentary bread basket and a side of gorgeously piped whipped butter. My friend and I decided to delve into one of their mocktails, named the Green Bubble, which consisted of pineapple, green apple, and ginger. While I did not get around to trying the cocktails myself, the Espresso Martini and Farmarita seemed to be very popular and well regarded by the many bachelorettes at nearby tables. The lentil and roasted carrot salad was delicious, with the aged sherry vinaigrette and pomegranates harmonizing the flavors very nicely. The crispy quinoa and summer pea croquettes were a very unique delight, best savored with a dip of the accompanying sauce. The Flora Ranch half roasted chicken was delectable, with well seasoned crispy skin and tender meat. The side of potatoes in this dish proved to be superb and unquestionably enhanced the entire meal. For dessert, we indulged in their seasonal sorbet, sourced directly from their gardens. I would highly suggest getting one of their mouth watering pizzas, which were very visually and aromatically tempting. Ensure you secure reservations in advance, as this establishment is a favorite among both locals and tourists alike. Set aside some extra time to explore the charming grounds and shops; the experience is truly captivating.

NOBU LOS CABOS
While most Nobu restaurants boost a lively atmosphere, this specific restaurant offered a distinct sense of tranquility. We had dinner later in the night and were unable to see the beach due to the darkness, but if you dine during lunch or sunset hours, you will find the vast beach a beautiful sight. We started off by ordering the edamame and the spinach salad with miso, alongside the beloved spicy tuna with crispy rice. While this dish is a solid staple at Nobu, the rice melted in your mouth with the already creamy spicy tuna mixture. Our meal also featured a variety of rolls, among which the yellowtail jalapeño cut roll with yuzu ponzu sauce emerged as my personal favorite. Make reservations in advance.

MUNA RESTAURANT
Situated on the top floor overlooking the breathtaking golf course and coastline, Muna offers an impressive Mediterranean menu that will leave you indecisive. The attentive staff, combined with the huge restaurant and bar, provides for a lovely and serene experience. The meal commences with a complimentary glass of prosecco where you will be invited to make a wish before savoring its delicious taste. You will then receive a complimentary trio of delectable, bite-sized breads, and a seasonal side dip. My friend and I decided to try the patatas bravas, and our choice did not disappoint. Each potato was gorgeously presented as evenly cut squares on cocktail sticks with two side sauces; greek harissa aioli and a mayonnaise concoction. The exterior of each potato exhibited an exquisite crispness while retaining a heavenly, creamy interior. The dips and crackers were also lovely, with the standout being the baba ganoush. For our entrée, the bronzino’s mild flavor harmonized with the pea purée, and even the unexpected presence of white clams added a delightful touch. I would definitely try to make it a priority to try out this restaurant while in Cabo.
